Ali Salam Kadhim Al-Khayyat received the B.Sc. degree in
Electrical Engineering from Al-Kufa University / Iraq in 2008,
and the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering for Sustainable
and Renewable Energy System from Nottingham University/
UK in 2014. He joined the faculty of Engineering in University
of Thi-Qar since 2016. He is currently Assistant Professor at the
department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department in University of Thi-Qar. His research interests are Power
Electronics Converter Control, Power Quality and Renewable
