الرؤية:
يركز قسم الهندسة الميكانيكية على إعداد مهندسين ميكانيك لديهم من المواصفات والامكانيات والاسس العلمية ما يمكنهم من المنافسة في سوق العمل وتلبية متطلبات الواقع العملي والاكاديمي لرفد عجلة التنمية في بلدنا بالكفاءآت اللازمة للنهوض بالواقع العراقي والمنافسة والحضور في الساحات العالمية.
رسالة القسم:
نتيجة لحاجة المحافظة الماسة للطاقة ولتوفير بدائل مناسبة لها كذلك الحاجة لتطويـــر القطـاع الصناعي نبعت الحاجة إلى فتح قسم الهندسة الميكانيكية في كلية الهندسة بجامعة ذي قار حيث تعتبر الهندسة الميكانيكية إحدى الأسس التي يستند عليها التطور التقني لاهتمامها بالطرق المختلفـــة لتوليد الطاقة وتحويلها من نوع إلى آخر وإيجاد بدائلها وتعتمد على المعرفة التخصصية فـــي المجـــالات الحرارية والتصميمية والإنتاجية. كما تسهم في تطوير الصناعات المختلفة ذات التماس المباشــــر مع حياة الإنسان مثل مجالات التكييف وصناعة السيارات ووسائل النقل المختلفة.
اهداف القسم:
- تخريج مهندسين أكفاء بتخصص هندسة الميكانيك لهم القدرة على تمييز، تحليل، وإيجاد الحلول المناسبة للمشاكل التطبيقية والتعامل مع التقنيات الحديثة بمهارة عالية.
- يهدف القسم إلى رفد البلد بمهندسين ميكانيك يساهمون في تطوير قطاعات الطاقة والقطاعات الصناعية وإدارة المشاريع وحل المشاكل الهندسية المترافقة مع تطور الحركة الصناعية والتقنية.
- تطوير حركة البحث العلمي وتنمية الخبرات العلمية والهندسية.
- تطوير المجتمع من خلال تدريب وتأهيل مهندسي ومنتسبي دوائر المحافظة من خلال أقامه الدورات التدريبية.
- المساهمة في نشر المعرفة العلمية والهندسية في المجتمع مع خلال إقامة الندوات والمؤتمرات العلمية التي تتطرق إلى المواضيع التي تعنى بتطوير المجتمع.
- إعداد خريجين مؤهلين للانخراط في برامج الدراسات العليا داخل القطر وخارجه والعمل في المراكز البحثية.
اهداف البرنامج الدراسي لقسم الهندسة الميكانيكية:
- اعداد مهندسين ميكانيك بمهارات علمية كافية للمنافسة والحصول على فرص في سوق العمل.
- توفير الامكانيات اللازمة لدى الخريجين لاكمال الدراسات العليا في مجال اختصاصهم.
- اعداد مهندسين ميكانيك بخبرات عملية كافية ضمن مجال اختصاصهم.
- توفير الامكانيات الكافية لدى الخريجين لتنمية امكاناتهم العلمية ومواكبة التطورات العلمية في مجال اختصاصهم.
- الارتقاء بامكانيات الخريجين من حيث العمل الجماعي والتحلي بروح الفريق.
Vision:
The Department of Mechanical Engineering focuses on the preparation of mechanical engineers with the specifications, capabilities and scientific foundations that enable them to compete in the labor market and meet the requirements of practical and academic conditions to enhance the development of our country with the necessary skills to promote the Iraqi reality, competition and attendance in the world.
Mission:
As a result of the need for energy conservation and the provision of suitable alternatives as well as the need for the development of the industrial sector arose the need to open the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Thi-Qar, where mechanical engineering is one of the foundations on which the technical development of its interest in different ways to generate energy and convert from one type to another and find the alternatives. So, it is based on specialized knowledge in thermal, design and production fields. It also contributes to the development of various industries with direct contact with human life such as the areas of air conditioning, automobile industry and various means of transport.
Goals:
- Graduation of qualified engineers in the specialization of mechanical engineering with the ability to distinguish, analyze, find appropriate solutions to the problems of application and deal with modern technologies with great skill.
- The department aims to provide the country with mechanical engineers who contribute to the development of energy sectors, industrial sectors, projects management and solving the engineering problems associated with the development of industrial and technical fields.
- Develop scientific research field and scientific and engineering expertise.
- Developing the community through the training and rehabilitation of engineers and employees of the departments of the province through the establishment of training courses.
- Contribute to the dissemination of scientific and engineering knowledge in the community with the establishment of seminars and scientific conferences that address the topics that concern the development of society.
- Preparing qualified graduates to enroll in graduate programs within and outside the country and work in research centers.
Objectives of the Department of Mechanical Engineering:
- Preparing mechanical engineers with sufficient scientific skills to compete and obtain opportunities in the labor market.
- Provide the necessary facilities for graduates to complete postgraduate studies in their field of competence.
- Preparing mechanical engineers with sufficient practical experience within their field of specialization.
- To provide the graduates with sufficient facilities to develop their scientific potential and to keep abreast of the scientific developments in their field of specialization.
- Upgrade the potential of graduates in terms of teamwork and team spirit.
