الرؤية (Vision):

يُعدّ قسم الهندسة الميكانيكية الركيزة الأساسية والمحور الرائد في كلية الهندسة بجامعة ذي قار، إذ يسعى إلى أن يكون منارة علمية وطنية ومركزاً متميزاً في التعليم الهندسي والبحث التطبيقي وخدمة المجتمع. ويهدف القسم إلى إعداد مهندسين يمتلكون القدرة على الابتكار والتحليل والتصميم والتطوير، ليكونوا فاعلين في بناء مستقبل العراق الصناعي والتقني، وقادرين على المنافسة في الساحات الإقليمية والعالمية.

كما يتطلع القسم إلى ترسيخ دوره القيادي في مجالات الطاقة، الحراريات، التصنيع المتقدم، والأنظمة الميكانيكية الذكية، بما يسهم في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة ودعم الاقتصاد الوطني بالحلول الهندسية الحديثة والمبتكرة.

🔷 الرسالة (Mission):

تنبع رسالة قسم الهندسة الميكانيكية من وعيه العميق بمسؤوليته العلمية والوطنية في دعم مسيرة التطور الصناعي والتقني للعراق. فالهندسة الميكانيكية تمثّل جوهر العلوم الهندسية وتكاملها، إذ تختص بدراسة الطاقة وتحويلها، وتصميم الآلات والأنظمة، وتطوير المواد وعمليات التصنيع، الأمر الذي يجعلها عنصراً أساسياً في أي نهضة صناعية معاصرة.

يعمل القسم على تخريج مهندسين مؤهلين علمياً وعملياً يمتلكون معرفة متقدمة في مجالات الحراريات، التصميم، التصنيع، والطاقة، وقادرين على مواجهة تحديات الواقع الصناعي بكفاءة وإبداع. ويركّز على الدمج بين الجانب الأكاديمي والبحث التطبيقي لتخريج مهندسين يتمتعون بمهارات التفكير التحليلي وروح المبادرة والإنتاج العلمي.

وفي إطار تطوره الأكاديمي والعلمي، أطلق القسم دراسة الماجستير في الهندسة الميكانيكية عام 2014، تبعتها دراسة الدبلوم العالي عام 2017، ثم استحدث برنامج الدكتوراه في هندسة الحراريات عام 2024، على أن يتبعها برنامج الماجستير في الهندسة التطبيقية والتصنيع عام 2027. هذه البرامج تمثل امتداداً طبيعياً لريادة القسم في الدراسات العليا والبحث العلمي، وترسخ مكانته كمركزٍ لتوليد المعرفة وإعداد الباحثين القادرين على الابتكار والإسهام في حل المشكلات الصناعية والطاقوية محلياً وعالمياً.

🎯 الأهداف (Objectives):

• إعداد مهندسين ميكانيكيين بمستوى عالمي يمتلكون كفاءة عالية في التصميم، التحليل، والبحث التطبيقي باستخدام أحدث التقنيات.

• تطوير حركة البحث العلمي والدراسات العليا في تخصصات الهندسة الميكانيكية، خصوصاً في مجالات الحراريات والطاقة والتصنيع المتقدم.

• رفد الصناعة الوطنية والقطاعات الإنتاجية بكفاءات هندسية قادرة على دعم مشاريع التنمية والإعمار وتطوير منظومات الطاقة المستدامة.

• تعزيز التكامل بين الجامعة والمجتمع الصناعي عبر الدورات التدريبية والاستشارات الهندسية ونقل المعرفة التقنية الحديثة.

• نشر الثقافة العلمية والهندسية من خلال تنظيم المؤتمرات والندوات وورش العمل التي تعالج قضايا الطاقة والتصنيع والتقنيات الحديثة.

• إعداد كوادر مؤهلة للدراسات العليا والبحث العلمي قادرة على الإبداع والابتكار والمشاركة في التطوير الأكاديمي والصناعي داخل العراق وخارجه.

• تنمية مهارات القيادة والعمل الجماعي والمسؤولية المهنية لدى الطلبة والخريجين بما ينسجم مع متطلبات سوق العمل العالمي.

• تمكين الخريجين من التعلم المستمر ومواكبة التحولات التكنولوجية في مجالات الهندسة الميكانيكية والطاقة.

• ترسيخ ريادة القسم كبيت خبرة علمي وهندسي يمثل الأساس الذي تستند عليه كلية الهندسة في نهجها نحو التميّز الأكاديمي والابتكار الصناعي.

Vision:

      The Department of Mechanical Engineering focuses on the preparation of mechanical engineers with the specifications, capabilities and scientific foundations that enable them to compete in the labor market and meet the requirements of practical and academic conditions to enhance the development of our country with the necessary skills to promote the Iraqi reality, competition and attendance in the world.

Mission:

      As a result of the need for energy conservation and the provision of suitable alternatives as well as the need for the development of the industrial sector arose the need to open the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Thi-Qar, where mechanical engineering is one of the foundations on which the technical development of its interest in different ways to generate energy and convert from one type to another and find the alternatives. So, it is based on specialized knowledge in thermal, design and production fields. It also contributes to the development of various industries with direct contact with human life such as the areas of air conditioning, automobile industry and various means of transport.

Goals:

1. Graduation of qualified engineers in the specialization of mechanical engineering with the ability to distinguish, analyze, find appropriate solutions to the problems of application and deal with modern technologies with great skill.
2. The department aims to provide the country with mechanical engineers who contribute to the development of energy sectors, industrial sectors, projects management and solving the engineering problems associated with the development of industrial and technical fields.
3. Develop scientific research field and scientific and engineering expertise.
4. Developing the community through the training and rehabilitation of engineers and employees of the departments of the province through the establishment of training courses.
5. Contribute to the dissemination of scientific and engineering knowledge in the community with the establishment of seminars and scientific conferences that address the topics that concern the development of society.
6. Preparing qualified graduates to enroll in graduate programs within and outside the country and work in research centers.

Objectives of the Department of Mechanical Engineering:

1. Preparing mechanical engineers with sufficient scientific skills to compete and obtain opportunities in the labor market.
2. Provide the necessary facilities for graduates to complete postgraduate studies in their field of competence.
3. Preparing mechanical engineers with sufficient practical experience within their field of specialization.
4. To provide the graduates with sufficient facilities to develop their scientific potential and to keep abreast of the scientific developments in their field of specialization.
5. Upgrade the potential of graduates in terms of teamwork and team spirit.
